We had a go at illustrating just like Dr Seuss. We drew the Cat in the Hat using crayon and dye. Then we wrote our own version of the story the Cat in the Hat.
It was a wet wet day and the children had Nothing to do. But then BANG! The Cat in the Hat came out of nowhere. Then he made the fish go up. He made a big mess. Then Thing 1 and Thing 2 made an even bigger mess and then they saw mum. But the Cat in the Hat came in with a cleaning machine. Then he cleaned up the mess.

I walked in to your class today and saw all your wonderful cat in the hat pictures. They are amazing! You are all so creative. Great job!
