Flynn is getting better and better!

Flynn is learning to read without pointing with his fingers. He is doing a great job!

There's a Leaker on the Speaker.

We created our own version of Dr Seuss's 'There's a Wocket in my pocket.'
We had to make up rhyming words and take a picture of where we could see our made up creature. We used kid pix to draw our creatures.

Ronald McDonld

Ronald McDonald came to visit! He was very tall. He had red hair and huge red shoes. He taught us all about road safety. He taught us our poem of the week.

Stop

Look

and

Listen.

Before you cross the street.

First you use your eyes and ears

And then you use your feet.

The red light always says to stop.

The green light tells you go.

The orange light means careful,

important things to know.

Quality Questions

We watchedthis amazing video of hundreds of fish jumping out of the water.
We are learning to ask quality questions.
We use words like...
WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW
Here are the questions we asked...

The Cat In the Hat

We had a go at illustrating just like Dr Seuss. We drew the Cat in the Hat using crayon and dye. Then we wrote our own version of the story the Cat in the Hat.

It was a wet wet day and the children had Nothing to do. But then BANG! The Cat in the Hat came out of nowhere. Then he made the fish go up. He made a big mess. Then Thing 1 and Thing 2 made an even bigger mess and then they saw mum. But the Cat in the Hat came in with a cleaning machine. Then he cleaned up the mess.
